It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to NDE2024 Chennai, the next marquee event for the NDT community to be held in Chennai. NDE2024 promises to set new benchmarks in international participation from speakers and exhibitors, participation from stakeholders and industry, integration of academia and practitioners.
The NDE2024 will be hosted at the NEW WORLDCLASS Convention Facility of the Chennai Trade Center. As the President of the Indian Society of NDT, I would like to share that ISNT is transforming itself into a new, responsive, relevant, and ubiquitous Society for the NDT stakeholder.
The buzzing startup eco-system and the emergence of many technology companies in India are now significantly changing the perception of “made-in-India” both in India and worldwide. Indians today form the largest manpower worldwide implementing NDT technologies. With more than 6000 active members, Training and Certification programs including ICN, the recent ISO 9712 accredited program, the new ISNT app and website, plans for expansion of ISNT Chapters outside India, among many new initiatives, is making ISNT more relevant and responsive to the global NDT community.
